Horse Shows

Trails End Farm students have the option to compete at local, 4-H and A rated shows. We presently show hunter, jumper and dressage disciplines. We are driven to help individuals who have a desire to compete and meet their goals. Our students have been successful showing hunters and hunt seat equitation, jumpers and dressage. Many have received Grand Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons as well as year-end awards. 90% of our student 4-H members have made it to Districts with 4 going on to the state competition. The farm has also received several awards for our total student success.

As an added feature, Trail End Farm offers on site horse shows limited to its own students. We start with a Lead Line class and increase in difficulty up to our Medal class. These shows start in March and run monthly through to our Championship show in October. These shows are run just like the shows we attend off the farm with one exception. We offer constructive advice throughout the show. It becomes a real educational experience. This show provides all our students the opportunity to show if they want to start in a non-threatening environment.
