4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H enables kids to have fun, meet new people, learn new life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility and set and achieve goals! Anyone the age of 8 to 18 may participate in the 4-H Youth Development Program in Pennsylvania. 4-H is the youth development education program administered through Penn State Cooperative Extension offices in all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties.

Trails End Farm is the home base for the Horse Happy 4-H Club. Our club meets the third Friday of each month from 5:45 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. During the colder months we will be meeting in Kleinfeltersville, at the Trinity Untied Methodist Church on Millback Road (this is only 2 minutes from Trails End Farm). When the weather is nicer we will have our meetings on the farm.

In 2007, 10 of the Horse Happy 4-H Club’s members made it to the District Horse Show. Three of these members will represent the Club and Lebanon County at the State Horse Show in October, 2007.

Costs

The Horse Happy 4-H Club dues are $20.00 per year.
